Advantages: Cheap, Small, Fun

Disadvantages: Price increased recently

Glamour is a fabulous magazine. I was getting a bit disillusioned with women's 'fashion' mags - went from buying all of them every month to buying none.

Then along came Glamour - at a fraction of the price of these other mags, and much more entertaining.

It includes some serious articles, however is mainly about glamour (no surprise there then!) - make-up, hairdos, clothes, shoes, holidays etc. This is what I want from a mag now - being able to dream about buying the Gucci outfit and the Prada shoes, and jetting off to Barcelona on a whim. And I am not shallow - honest. I buy the broadsheets to keep up with current affairs, and Glamour magazine to while away a wet Sunday afternoon.

This magazine also DOES fit into your handbag, and I don't think it has as many adverts as other glossies.
I have taken out a subscription, and got my fab free gift (Clinique shower gel) - so another £9.99 for 12 issues well spent

I think at £1.80 it is a bargain, and available from a garage/newsagent near you.
