Golf Monthly

Let me start by explaining that I love golf! I play whenever possible and consider myself to be a keen amateur who is always looking to learn and improve. It is on that basis that I buy Golf Monthly, which I find is crammed full of tips, advice, information and reviews.

I initially began getting this magazine when a kind family member bought me an annual subscription as a Christmas gift. Sadly, that ran out earlier in the year (though Christmas is coming so you never know, hint hint!) so I now have to buy this myself when it comes out each month.

Some people (my other half for example!) do feel that at £4 a go, it is a little expensive, but it is a high quality magazine and after reading, I pass it to a friend so feel that I get my moneys worth from it. The reviews of courses and equipment are invaluable and my only criticism would be that there are a lot of adverts. This is space that could be filled with more golf information!

I have bought other golf magazines but this is a favorite for me and I feel it is definitely worth the money. I have just looked at the website too and there is a discount offered on annual subscriptions as Christmas presents - so if you are reading this my lovely other half, you know what you can get me!!
