Advantages: Good quality articles and great features

Disadvantages: Can be a bit mundane at times

As the title infers his magazine is released 4 time a year and is for a higher breed of man. RUBBISH. The audience that was originally aimed at was as described but now the magazine has adopted a monthly release and angled itself towards the lads market magazine. NOw, as I read these magazines I am pleased with this transition, especially as GQ has managed to retain several elements of the original. It is not as crude as th likes of FHM and has many interesting articles tht do not reduce themselves to tiolet humour. That said, the humour is not realy reaidly available. The magazine has a more serious approach to its product than some of its rivals.
The level of flesh revealed is somewhat less and the articles slightly more professional. Also the articles tend to be fresher than other magazines as I have not noticed such a policy of recycling.
The best part though in GQ is the grooming tips which are far superior in content that any of the rivals. Products from sunglasses to suits and even afterhsave are reviewed. In addition there are features on health and diet. And occasionally the sister magazine GQ-ACTIVE is given as a freebie. The magazine GQ active has tips and health advice for training, sprots features and anything to do with health. It is an excellen supplemen and even standalone it is worth a read. I would recommend GQ and GQ-Active to anyone serious about their appearance and lifestyle.
