Better than other gossip mags (Heat)
Member Name: fairyjasmine
Advantages: fun, a comprehensive TV guide Disadvantages: relatively expensive
In the celebrity obsessed world we live in the shelves are packed with magazines show our favourite stars looking too slim, too fat, with big boobs, with cellulite, with a new partner or *gasp* with spots! If you are one who likes to keep their finger on the pulse and know everything that's happening in the lives of the rich and famous then Heat is probably the magazine for you. It's weekly and costs £1.50, the most expensive on the market but probably the most comprehensive of them all. There's always pictures of celebrities doing normal things like shopping for milk, filling their car with petrol or eating. Then there are the glamourous shots of them dressed to the nines on the catwalk, their outfits and appearance always being questioned. Heat is written in a simple, straightforward manner, you can imagine your best friend saying all the things you're reading. OK, so it's trashy, it's not exactly going to stretch you but it's fun. Plus the TV guide is always good (saves you having to buy 2 mags!) Summary: |
