Heat Magazine is one of the most prominant celebrity gossip magazines. It has the latest news on celebrities and has been made famous on its covarage of big brother.

Although Heat is the magazine that springs to mind when you think of a gossip magazine they are all pretty much generic and have the same celebrity gossip inside just written by someone else and has different pictures.

At about £1.65 an issue it is one of the more expensive celebrity gossip magazines so I don't tend to buy it any more.

I have also found that the articles on celebrities can be anything from nicole richie's new fashion range to carla sarkozi's diet plan to the fact that britneyspears is eating a burger. It is the mundane 'gossip' that I believe is Heats downfal;l as of course people want to hear scandal but not the everyday things that celebrities do. We know they are real people and don't care I personally just want to hear about the drama.

Heat magazine has also got the standard sections of fashion, health beauty, holiday but anyone who has ever read a magazine like this will know what is in them and to be honest they are no better or worse they are just as I put it before generic.

Summary: more expensive version of a gossip magazine
