Celebs looking rough!
Member Name: louisechackett
Advantages: easy read, you don't have to think at all when reading
Disadvantages: i can't really think of any!
Let me start by saying I LOVE HEAT MAGAZINE! This said i have found that since the editor changed I have not bought it as frequently as before.
It is full of celebrities who are often looking less than their usual airbrushed best! This may make me a bit of a bitch but who doesn't like seeing Celebs looking a bit rubbish? Makes us feel a bit better about ourselves I feel! There is a lot of focus on celebs relationships, their weight and them falling out of clubs lookinf drunk. If i am honest it is quite literally an easy, trashy read!
As well as Celebs looking rubbish heat also has just normal celebrity news. I like this as it reminds me a bit of a Sunday Paper such as The People, but I can read it any day of the week! The way it is laid out makes it easy to read and the articles are often short with big pictures. It makes it a relaxed read which is certainly what I am looking for from a magazine. When I want to read properly I read a book.
The price of Heat is £1.65 which I think is pretty reasonable compared to other magazines on the shelf. There are other magazines now which are selling cheaper but in my opinion they don't come close to Heat for good old gossip.
Heat usually follows shows such as Big Brother and with Big Brother just starting if you are a fan heat usually has all the goss!
Heat also has a TV guide in for the week, with reviews and top picks for each day....handy if you remember to use it, which I sadly don't.
In summary Heat is a good, easy read and is worth it's money!
Summary: A good read for lunch break/the beach etc
