Advantages: good all around advice

Disadvantages: none that i know of

I subscribed to this for many years (about 10) until I felt i had absorbed enough information to go it alone! Actually the magazines were piling up and I just wasn't getting the time to re-read them so they had to go, but these magazines are an excellent starting point for people who want to start taking care of their health while they are young enough to build up good stamina and a healthy body.
They are full of good advice re-diet, exercise and what kind of complimentary therapies are available. They also review new products such as vitamins, minerals or food supplements.
Sometimes people come to the complimentary health sector because they feel there is nowhere else to go having gone as far as they can with allopathic medicine.
Here's Health has built up a good reputation over the years. They usually provide a list of the governing bodies foe each complimentary disipline, which is a good place to start when looking for a reputable practitioner.
