I won a subscription to Here's Health magazine and I have found it an interesting read. It is mainly concerned with "alternative" medicine/therapies though not to the exclusion of conventional medicine. It is packed with articles and information. It is unlike the other health magazines on the market in that it is not glossy and the pages aren't full of pictures of teenage models. Basically Here's Health is more serious in it's outlook. I have learnt a lot from this magazine. If you have a medical condition and conventional medicine isn't much help than this is the magazine for you. I usually find at least one article that is relevant to me. My subscription has now come to an end. I won't be renewing it, but I will buy it whenever there is an article that is relevant to me. I don't think this magazine is for everyone. It seems to be aimed slightly more at those who work in health-related professions. If you like the glossiness of other health magazines this may not be the magazine for you. Everyone should read it once though, you might just learn something.
