If, like me, you are a dedicated follower of all things hip and hop, you'll probably notice that your culture while interesting an not the norm, does miss out on some benefits of being mainstream. Dilemma: you're bored, you have nothing to read, and you have no clue whats up in the world of hip hop. Danger: no! Get away from the Woman's Own - its not worth it! SOLUTION: Hip Hop Connections. I only found this island of salvation a few months ago, and being a weekly magazine that means Ive read a grand total of maybe 4. Sure, most people would associate these celebs with 'HipHop' scene, I for one don't. RnB and popRap (Eminem etc) should be consigned to magazines that deal with this specific genre. I know that many of these artists claim to be HipHoppers but the truth is, that they've only had their roots in HipHop, or ...
