Horse magazine is a monthly mag which i think offers great value for money at only £2.70 an issue. It is written by the same people that produce Horse and Hound and it covers all sorts of topics such as horse care,riding tips,holidays away,celebrity features,as well as tried and tested.
I found that out of all the magazines this one was relevant to all riders, not just those with horses. The competitions for example are to win clothing for yourself or a holiday or a lesson with a top rider which would suit all people not just those with horses, although of course there are also ones to win a saddle or more recently a horse trailer!
The question and answer section also covers all topics and is divided up in easy to read sections that cover health, riding, horse care and even legal questions.
All in all i used to read this magazine when i didn't have a horse and learnt a lot from it, finding the tried and tested section especially useful when planning what to buy for myself or my future horse. This saved me a lot of time and money in buying products that may not have been suitable. Now that i have a horse i also still read this magazine and still learn from it every time!
