Ive read a couple of other reviews on this magazine and it doesnt really go down to well. To be honest i dont think its all that bad. Im not really a magazine fan myself and will only buy one on the add occasion, but i am really into fashion and beauty. I think the magazine is easy to pick up and look through. There is a lot of advertisements and pointless pages of pictures of models wearing clothes you can hardly even see but in total they offer a wide range of styles and try cater for people of different shapes, however they do not feature clothes of more than a size 14 or 16, so in that respect its not great. There are also not many stories or ...

Instyle is one of those magazines I buy every so often and quickly regret. it costs about £3 an issue, so is comparable with similar monthly glossies such as Vogue and Elle. It usually attracts my attention by having a free gift; lots of bags, toiletry rolls, sample sizes of products, books and so on. It usually looks quite thick and substantial - more on that later... After you've flicked past the hundreds of adverts and had a wodge of leaflets fall out onto your lap, you reach the opening pages. These consist of several pages of photos of celebrities and models with captions saying 'Celeb X in dress by Designer Z', with a vague theme running through - i.e. 3 ...

I initially read the American version of instyle, and i got very.......VERY excited! Except at the time it wasnt sold in the U.K. Then they started selling it in the U.K, and i got REAAAAAAALLY excited. Being a HUUUUUUGE fan of 'LOOKS' magazine i thought 'Instyle' would be another magazine that i could i could get shamefully obsessed and over-excited about buying every month. Sadly, i don't. Put simply, it just has no content! It costs £2.70 (50p more than 'LOOKS') and for that you get a couple of pictures of celebrities at whatever grammy/oscar/music awards are nearest that month, pages and pages and pages of horrible HORRIBLE clothes ...
