Advantages: Great transferable looks

This is on my monthly subscription list. Instyle is normally £3.40 and is a monthly glossy. It's a lot thinner than either Vogue or Elle but that is largely because of less ads as opposed to less content. The one thing this mag is really good at is translating celebrity styles onto the high street. There is a good mix of prices that would fit between that of Elle and Vogue. Think French Connection and Reiss as opposed to the Gucci and D&G of Vogue or the Top Shop to Balanceiga of Elle. It is similar to Elle in that there is not a lot of celebrity gossip but you will always find one feature article on the female celeb of the moment. There are normally recipes at the end a life style section including entertaining, shopping, design and travel. Of all my subscribed mags I probably tear out more looks from this one. Everything is put together really well and looks are wearable.
