Premium Review a good read for fashion (511 words)
by - written on 14/12/09 (Very useful, 48 readings)
Rating:

Instyle is a monthly glossy women's magazine that covers fashion, priced at £3.50 it is comparable to many of the magazines on the shelves. I am a subscriber to Vogue, Elle and Harper's Bazaar but do regularly buy Instyle, I enjoy it but probably wouldn't subscribe to it. On average I probably read 1 out of every 2 issues, which I enjoy ...  Read the complete review

Like any woman, i like a bit of celebrity gossip and fashion and thought i would treat myself to a copy of In Style magazine. I hadnt bought it in a few years and was looking forward to seeing what it was like now. The main reason i bought it was because there was a free Loccitane hand cream worth £7 in it. The magazine cost me £3.50 ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review InStyle: SUGAR DADDY NEEDED Instyle magazine (729 words)
by - written on 06/08/09 (Very useful, 45 readings)

I seem to have my magazine review head on today! I will have to say this is again another magazine that I would not usually buy, but when I got an email from martinlewismoneyexpert.com about the freebie with this one I had to go and buy it!. With the September issue (£3.50) you get 2 Bodyshop Eye Definers ( I take it that ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review If you love fashion... (375 words)
by - written on 26/01/09 (Very useful, 59 readings)
Rating:

This is the only magazine I buy on a regular basis. I keep them in a big stack underneath my stereo, where their pretty colours and glossy exterior brighten up the place. Call me a saddo, but I read them over and over. They're ideal if you have half an hour to fill and you don't want to start a big heavy book. All the other magazines ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review InStyle: You will be Instyle if you follow this mag (165 words)
by - written on 20/11/08 (Useful, 9 readings)
Rating:

This is on my monthly subscription list. Instyle is normally £3.40 and is a monthly glossy. It's a lot thinner than either Vogue or Elle but that is largely because of less ads as opposed to less content. The one thing this mag is really good at is translating celebrity styles onto the high street. There is a good mix of prices that would fit ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review For Ladies who Lunch (352 words)
by - written on 28/09/08 (Very useful, 112 readings)
Rating:

Feeling a tad uninspired in terms of what to review, I decided to sit down and read the magazine that arrived through my letterbox last week. I'm not a big reader of magazines but in my quest to line my pockets, I took out a subscription to In Style magazine via Quidco. The magazine was on offer with 3 issues setting me back £1 and the added ...  Read the complete review

Ive read a couple of other reviews on this magazine and it doesnt really go down to well. To be honest i dont think its all that bad. Im not really a magazine fan myself and will only buy one on the add occasion, but i am really into fashion and beauty. I think the magazine is easy to pick up and look through. There is a lot of ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review ....but not in my shopping basket (568 words)
by - written on 18/09/05 (Very useful, 44 readings)
Rating:

Instyle is one of those magazines I buy every so often and quickly regret. it costs about £3 an issue, so is comparable with similar monthly glossies such as Vogue and Elle. It usually attracts my attention by having a free gift; lots of bags, toiletry rolls, sample sizes of products, books and so on. It usually looks quite thick and substantial - ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review InStyle: An amateur attempt (199 words)
by - written on 12/12/01 (Useful, 61 readings)
Rating:

The hype and anticipation that surrounded the launch of this new magazine actually made me want to read it. Someone somewhere had even had the bright idea of putting a teaser in the Evening Standard - just enough to wet our appetites. It worked and I went out and bought a copy for myself. Unfortunately, far from the riveting read I'd ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review InStyle: great, it's for grown-ups (159 words)
by - written on 29/05/01 (Useful, 53 readings)
Rating:

I'd kind of given up on women's mags. Fallen into that mid 30s gap, I guess, grown out of Elle around the same time as my first job, determined not to grow into Good Housekeeping, and frankly understood enough about sex and the dangers of sun tan ever to want to buy 'She' or 'New Woman' again. InStyle was a bit like ...  Read the complete review
