Here’s another magazine that I recommend to new users of the Internet. We all have to start learning somewhere and Internet Advisor is that somewhere! For £1.99 per issue, you just can’t lose out! <<<>>>**<<<>>> For your £1.99, you would wonder if the magazine had anything in it worth reading, let alone what the CD may have on it. Well, I hope to give you a good idea of what you can expect to find in Internet Advisor and hopefully my opinion will answer your questions about the magazine. <<<>>>**<<<>>> <<<>>>WHAT’S ON THE CD<<<>>> <<<>>>**<<<>>> OK, this is where you find out what’s on the shiny, potential coffee cup coaster taped to the front of your magazine. Normally you’ll find some very useful free full programs on the disc. More times than enough you’ll find more than one full program though. You’ll also find a mixed bag of Freeware (totally free), Shareware (not free), patches, updates and useful utilities which all help to make your usage of the Internet that bit better. In all it’s usually a good CD to have. <<<>>>**<<<>>> <<<>>>BEST OF THE NET<<<>>> Here’s where you’ll find some fairly useful web addresses to have a butchers at. Each month Internet Advisor print a list of sites that they feel may be of use to you. You may find a few that are actually useful & others that are totally useless. <<<>>>**<<<>>> <<<>>>READERS’ LETTERS<<<>>> One of the best bits of the magazine. You get some great letters that are very interesting to read. There’s some that will teach you a few things. Then of course you get the usual bag of Brown Nosed Letters, which are hoping for a freebie. <<<>>>**<<<>>>
<<<>>>QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS<<<>>> Another useful part of Internet Advisor that’s always worth reading. You can find answers to your own questions here at times. There’s always the silly questions that have been asked thousands of times, and which may make you laugh. <<<>>>**<<<>>> <<<>>>READERS’ SITES<<<>>> Just what it says. If you’ve got a website that you’re particularly proud of, why not send your address in and let Internet Advisor have a butchers at it! If they think that it’s good there’s a fair chance that they will feature it in the magazine. If this does happen you normally get a gift and loads of good exposure. If they find that your site’s not so good they may feature it and inform you of ways to improve it. <<<>>>**<<<>>> <<<>>>USEFUL ADDRESSES<<<>>> This is Internet Advisor’s list of websites that may be useful to most people. Some of the sites may be no use to you at all, but you never know til you check them out. <<<>>>**<<<>>> <<<>>>WEIRD WEB WORLD<<<>>> Here’s your chance to have a good laugh! Basically this is a list of sites that are weird and wonderful. The listed sites should always be taken with a large bucket of salt! Let’s just say that some may offend you, others may just disgust you & the rest are just WEIRD!! <<<>>>**<<<>>> <<<>>>HOW TO<<<>>> This is your guide of how to do various things connected to the Net. The How To’s range from choosing an ISP (Internet Service Provider) to better usage of the Net in general. They go into loads of different subjects that may make your usage of the Net a better one. <<<>>>**<<<>>> <<<>>>BUILD YO
UR OWN WEBSITE<<<>>> Exactly what it says on the box! Take one sizeable amount of free webspace, add one web building program, throw in an eager PC & user (preferably with brains intact & ideas) and finally mix thoroughly. Then et voilla….one website! It may not be a great one, but it’s still a website nonetheless! <<<>>>**<<<>>> <<<>>>ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS<<<>>> This is the part that’s dedicated to Net Newbies. It teaches the beginner quite a bit about the Internet, how to get on it & how to use it. This is an absolute must for beginners! <<<>>>*<<<>>>*<<<>> > You get loads more features in the magazine other than the one’s that I’ve listed. These range from news & reviews to competitions & an ISP guide. You get even more than on top but I’ve just listed the main ones. For £1.99, you get a great magazine & a feature packed CD! That’s a lot of stuff for a miserable £1.99! Internet Advisor is probably the best £1.99 that you’ve spent in ages & you won’t be sorry if you do buy a copy. The best thing to do is to check out the magazine when you see it on the shelf of your local newsagents. Then you can decide if the magazine’s for you. This way you don’t waste any money either! Thanks for your time.
