I already subscribe to one computing magazine, that being PC Advisor, so what am I doing writing about Internet Advisor, since it's not a magazine I normally buy. Well, it's vanity that made me do it. You, see I had an e-mail from the deputy editor of Internet Advisor who had seen the opinion that I had written about ... Read the complete review

I felt obliged to write a review about this magazine as I actually feature in the November edition! (on page 90, my review about www.screwfix.com, along with a full colour photo of yours truly in my classroom. About a month ago, I received an e-mail from the editor of this magazine, completely out of the blue. He had enjoyed reading my ... Read the complete review

I have been reading IA for nearly a year now. The mag is full of useful items, its witty and well structured. The cover CD is always very good (although they should have a full list of its contents in every mag) and when one of the programmes on the CD didn't work, I called them and they fixed the problem over the phone with me. I would ... Read the complete review

I have been using the net for over a year now and have found Internet Advisor to be an excellent resource. The magazine is colourfully presented with good easy to understand diagrams on how to use the net. It is well written in a clear and well laid out format and does not contain some of the jargon found in more advanced computer ... Read the complete review

Internet Advisor is about the best value computer magazine I have come across. It costs just £1.99 each month and has a cover disc. *** The following review was written in August 2000. I have left the review untouched but have placed an update at the end to cover any changes since it was written. *** The internet can be very intimidating to the beginner. I bought Internet Advisor regularly when I first got my computer. It is a friendly and accessible magazine which will appeal to any beginner who has felt a little bit daunted by the numerous PC magazines in WHSmiths. It is definately aimed at the beginner, the style is simplistic and it is written in jargon-free English. Internet Advisor covers ... Read the complete review

I bought my first copy of Internet Advisor yesterday. What initially attracted me to it (apart from the fact I was looking at the computer magazines section of the shop anyway), was the number and selection of programmes on the cover CD and the price - only £1.99, which is cheap considering the number of software you get with it and compared ...
