This magazine is one of the cheaper Internet titles - by that I should say inexpensive. The content is certainly NOT cheap! I have bought this magazine since the first issue and I must say it is excellent. Focusing on all the top UK sites on the web, this mag is a must have if you are fairly new to the web, or indeed if you just want to save yourself time sifting through the dross to find the gems. The articles are top quality, written in a down to earth manner and appealing to you and I - not internet bofins, (which some internet magazines do - I feel completely alienated reading some of them). The price of this magazine was the main thing that attracted me to it - a couple of of fun links as surfing was getting repetitive, but I didn't want to pay much. Inevitably, I found enough links to keep me going for a while, but I was disappointed to find that only a third of the magazine is actually devoted to actual reviews of sites and services, while the rest of it was filled by an internet directory (top 10 sites in many categories), which was of no use to me as I had already heard of and been to the sites or had no interest whatsoever in doing so. I bought Internet Monthly about 1year ago,the magazines were excellent,& very helpful for the inexperienced PC user..when I got round to buying the yearly subscription on their website cost £20, I paid for it by visa, after hearing nothing for a month it was discoverd they had gone bust. Then I tried stopping the money going out of my account,the bank wasnt helpful & I was told just to wait & see what happened.
