This magazine is one of the cheaper Internet titles - by that I should say inexpensive. The content is certainly NOT cheap! I have bought this magazine since the first issue and I must say it is excellent. Focusing on all the top UK sites on the web, this mag is a must have if you are fairly new to the web, or indeed if you just want to save yourself time sifting through the dross to find the gems. The articles are top quality, written in a down to earth manner and appealing to you and I - not internet bofins, (which some internet magazines do - I feel completely alienated reading some of them). There is a lot of reader input here with ... Read the complete review

The price of this magazine was the main thing that attracted me to it - a couple of of fun links as surfing was getting repetitive, but I didn't want to pay much. Inevitably, I found enough links to keep me going for a while, but I was disappointed to find that only a third of the magazine is actually devoted to actual reviews of sites and services, while the rest of it was filled by an internet directory (top 10 sites in many categories), which was of no use to me as I had already heard of and been to the sites or had no interest whatsoever in doing so. The free CD was also a serious disappointment, in fact the installation of the free version of IE5 caused a bug in ... Read the complete review

I bought Internet Monthly about 1year ago,the magazines were excellent,& very helpful for the inexperienced PC user..when I got round to buying the yearly subscription on their website cost £20, I paid for it by visa, after hearing nothing for a month it was discoverd they had gone bust. Then I tried stopping the money going out of my account, the bank wasnt helpful & I was told just to wait & see what happened. Well 4months later it was taken out but by another company name, which was very difficult to trace.after making no end of phone calls, I was told how LUCKY I was as my subscription had been taken up in the relauch of IM magazine & that a lot ... I first got connected to the Internet appx two years ago and was so naïve that I went out and bought a six foot piece of fibre glass from my local sport shop only to find it wasn’t that kind of surfing I needed it for. But seriously though, I needed a good Internet magazine, which covered the things I wanted to know, and Internet monthly was just the right magazine. It contains a good help section that covers some of the problems that we all get from time to time. There is also has a good section called “Your shout” which gives people the chance to write in with their comments and experiences. It contains the usual reviews on the latest ... I have found Internet monthly to be a very informative read and a real bargain at £1.99 an issue. Packed with information on websites, where you can snap up bargain buys such as cd's and video's etc., beginners guides and answers to people's questions and other useful information on current trends etc. all explained in plain english and not jargon, so even mere mortals like myself can read this without getting a headache! A free cdrom can also be found on the cover with isp providers, games and other useful little applications contained on this. Definitely good value for money here and very easy to understand. ...
