Disadvantages: loss of cash, no magazines

I bought Internet Monthly about 1year ago,the magazines were excellent,& very helpful for the inexperienced PC user..when I got round to buying the yearly subscription
on their website cost £20, I paid for it by visa, after hearing nothing for a month it was discoverd they had gone bust.
Then I tried stopping the money going out of my account,the bank wasnt helpful & I was told just to wait & see what happened.
Well 4months later it was taken out but by another company name,which was very difficult to trace.after making no end of phone calls, I was told how LUCKY I was as my subscription had been taken up in the relauch of IM magazine & that a lot of people had lost their subscriptions.
But then 2 magazines later they vanish again..So I still lost the subscription.
I for one shall never risk online yearly subscriptions again,which is a shame when one company can spoil it for the other genuine ones.Not that I don think they were genuine to start with, but these people should make provision for the public who have trusted them with their money.
After phoning the liquidators in London
& not getting any responce I gave up.
