Premium Review Internet. Works: Internet Works --- Working for you (719 words)
by - written on 28/02/01 (Very useful, 34 readings)
Rating:

What’s on offer? Is it any good? Should I buy it? Here’s an Internet magazine that’s suitable to most Internet users… young, old, novice or expert. Internet Works takes a more serious view towards the Internet and tries to help you get the best out of the Internet. This is probably because the magazine was originally mainly targeted at business users, but the good old home user got in there as usual! I hope that my review will answer the questions at the top as I go along on my ramblings. With any luck you’ll end up with something of an understanding about Internet Works & will be able to make a decision about its ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review the content (155 words)

I buy this magazine occasionally, when there is an article on the cover that looks as if it will be interesting to me as a web designer. I don't buy it every month as some of the content is very much aimed at businesspeople who don't know very much about the internet, whereas I've grown up with it. The sort of articles I enjoy are those on site promotion and business development I find the product reviews and cover CD very useful as it is mostly products which I'm likely to use, such as shopping cart software, and full marks to them for including some Mac software as well because a lot of this type of magazine don't. I don't like ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Internet. Works: I must say that i enjoyed this magazine (107 words)

This is a great magazine and i think that i will have to get it on subscription! The main thing about the magazine which sets it apart from the rest of that huge crowd which is the internet magazines is that it has some amazing content. This magazine though is for the business person or people who are interested in the internet as a whole. The mag includes a makeover each month where they feature a site which has been re-worked by a design firm and they show how it was before and what it is now etc... Great mag for content and info :-) ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A very misunderstood magazine (115 words)

Many people I know say that this magazine sucks, and that it is not useful at all. In my opinion .NET Magazine has many useful articles and great programs on the CD but it lacks some of the content that Internet.Works has. One section I am paticularly fond of is the 'makeover' section where every month they feature a company with a poorly designed website and show the steps of revamping it.
