Advantages: full of rock!, easy to read, great gig guide

Disadvantages: bit short maybe

This is just the ultimate weekly magazine for all you rock lovers out there.

Its got information on all the latest news on old and new bands. I also feel Kerrang helps new bands get going because they are always introducing new talent to us which is just fantastic cause sometimes its the un found bands that are the best and original.

The only problem I have with Kerrang is it is slightly messy at times and can become confusing when reading late at night. It does keep its reports very short and concise which is the way I like it long winded reports just bore me and most people theres no need for it keep to the facts and it is so much more interesting.

Kerrang rate new albums, gigs, games, and even books so theres something for everyone and there ratings are very good they dont go far wrong they rate on a 5 scale system using KKKKK's, K is awful and KKKKK is awesome!

Like I say it is a weekly magazine at the cost of £1.99 but the big benefit of it being weekly is all the news is completely hot off the press not a month late which is another advantage of Kerrang.

They have also now brought back posters and also include glossy ones ;)!!

You sometimes get free CD's with some really cool tracks on. These tend to be once a year.

One thing is they do tend to have a lot of advertisement in the magazine but it is normally pretty good advertisement actually as it is normally advertising new gigs announced and new albums and singles coming out!

Also towards the back of the magazine there is like a TV mag for the week ahead with all the times and dates for movies, tv programmes, gigs, outings that rock fans would be interested in!

I strongly recommend this to anyone who has the slightest interest in rock, it is well worth the £1.99 weekly! :)

I remeber when K! started. It was damn good in the early days.
But now. Oh dear. It's turned into the sort of corporate dinosaur it used to kick off at. The crew that contribute to it and run it are all a bit up their own arses too. Too handy at thinking they are Mr Big and all that.
However, good review though. Pukka stuff
