Disadvantages: More every issue

Kerrang is a weekly music magaxine that, in my opinion, has been going downhill for a while now. More and more features on bands such as kids in glass houses and other bands that are simply pop music. There are still some good features on classic bands such as iron maiden. There are also some features on actual metal (Shock horror!) It has free posters each week and is priced at £2.10. I have regrettably bought a years subscription which slows me down at reading my metal hammer! I wouldn't really recomend this to metal fans but more to rock and pop fans. It simply has lost the plot and is going for the 12 year old's pocket money than the cash of real metalheads. I have nothing against this music or the fans but it simply isn't for me anymore. Which is a shame as it used to be so much better

Thanks for reading

Kerrang has always favoured whatever the 'cool' sound is in rock, just like NME like to change their minds every 5 minutes about what's hot and what's not in Indie. Put simply; Kerrang isn't going downhill at all but has in fact remained constant for many years now in forefronting the 'in' thing in rock.
