Kerrang is the heavy metal bible and without doubt the best music magazine on the shelves today. Being published weekly means that the news is always up to date and cd and concert reviews are all of recent ones. It covers a wide spectrum of tastes from soft rock to the really heavier stuff. Kerrang is a nice colourful magazine with the centre section devoted to a few pull out posters. All the articles are worth a read even when they are about a band your not that keen on and I have found that the journalists don’t seem to have any ego problems unlike the NME.

I have always found Kerrang reviews to be very well balanced and fair-minded even when I do disagree with them. I could go on but if your into any form of loud music you really should get this every week it stands head and shoulders above any of the rock mags and mainstream publications could learn a lot from Kerrang. Its just a shame that I have to buy the NME for my non metal stuff.
