Advantages: The articles can be good

Disadvantages: A lot.

Kerrang did used to be a fantastic magazine. All you ever needed to know was in there. And all about proper bands as well. Now it's all Eminem and Everlast and Muse.
They're not heavy metal!!!
I like Eminem but I don't want to read about him in a Heavy metal magazine.
I want to read what's happening in the Metal world, Metallica, Sepultura, Pantera, any band that fits into the respective category. It's becoming a bit of a joke. Posters and articles on girl bands. Whats all that about? I want to know about music. Not a "special" article dedicated to Girl bands and women in music and why they deserve their place. Music, that's the important thing, not if they are female and should be respected. I couldn't care if they're all women, I just want to know if their music is worth buying, if they're touring, that sort of thing. Anyway, that's my opinion on Kerrang.
