Advantages: Everything Inside
Disadvantages: No posters or rock chart!
I recently purchased a Kerrang! magazine, after watching the channel on sky so much. I was very surprised. This has anything, and I mean anything you need to know about tour dates, metal, punk rock and indie. An intriguing magazine with more than meets the eye. It is well priced and of good quality. Lots of writing each page, with facts, news, tour dates and interviews. I admit that it could've been improved with posters etc, and is very similar to NME magazine - which, by the way is cheaper - but in general it is a decent mag. It features everyone rock, punk and metal band you can think of, from Adema to Weezer, and you get coupons inside for two pounds off some albums. The improvements needed are: The UK rock chart needs to be featured, We need some posters, and less advertisement (there is a hell of a lot about their telly channel) Loads of competitions are featured, FACE in the CROWD, Win a drum kit, and even to get a one of a kind foo fighters 3 inch the one CD, never found anywhere else, ultra rare! But I have to first of all mention that you must know a bit about rock if this is what you are going to buy. I have made a series of questions in which you need to know too buy this album. ----------------- Questions ----------------- What is Slipknots current album called? What kind of music do Korn sing? who are system Of A Down? Who are Incubus? See, those questions aren't hard for us rock fans, but you'd be surprised how many people get them wrong. Therefore, Kerrang is an excellent mag to buy for a rock fan, like myself. But if not, buy Smash Hits or something.
