A informative guide to....ROCK! (Kerrang!)
Advantages: Lots of coverage of new bands and old bands Disadvantages: perhaps a tad expensive
Sometimes, you spot magazines on the shelves on that feature your favourite band, but then as you flick through the rest of the magazine, you find that it's filled with all manner of rubbish. but not Kerrang! Kerrang has the knack of featuring both new and up-coming bands with the classic old bands. it has a very indepth review of loadsa live gigs, and tour-dates of bands to see, also with a 'must see' band section. other informative and interesting sections to the magazine include the new 'Scumscene'page from www.vitaminic.co.uk which showcases some of the best new underground talent.
