Advantages: a teenage mag although doesnt say
Disadvantages: lots of ads
It doesnt say for 17 year olds but it does say "The Worlds Coolest magazine ... definately". I expect a lot of other Countries "teenage" magazine editors would argue with that. I has 15 pages of lads, advice and celeb secrets. A very varied magazine but has a "you are never to old to read this" so that gives me the go ahead! 17 year olds must definately be more mature than a few years ago as J17 confidential has stories such as I confess ... , views on sex, lads and life. I spent my holidays in the army, and so you know about virginity. Plus a great one I think on "How old is too old!" There are 20 pages of summer style which could show exactly the same cut down to 5 pages. There is also many advertisements. I know this is where a lot of the money comes from but there are so many. I think the August edition is really keyed up for the summer and has a good competition if you are good at designing. You have to design a tshirt and they will put this design on sale in shops. As this is a monthly it has a day by day stars. Each months star birthday are a different colour with white print. The writing is very small and white print on some of the colours makes it almost unreadable. It gives you your "snog day, lucky day, dosh day and hassle day. For £2 a copy this is a glossy magazine with far too many advertisements. But as there are so few magazines for the teens it will be bought.
