Advantages: lots of great interviews, loads of gossip

Disadvantages: too many adverts

I buy a lot of magazines each month, mainly ones like Sugar and Bliss and the celeb ones. When the first issue of the Star magazine came out a little while ago I thought i'd buy it just to see what it was like and I found it very good. It was packed full of information and all the gossip on the stars and unlike other mags it wasn't crammed full of adverts and wasted pages on silly things. After a couple of episodes I stopped buying it, for no particular reason, I just didn't read mags as much as I used to.
Then last week I noticed that there was an interview with Destinys Child in it so I thought i'd buy it just to read that. To my suprise I had found it had shrunk in size and there wasn't as many pages as there used to be, and whats more, it was full of adverts that I didn't want to look at. It did however still have loads of gossip and great interviews with celebs. I wouldn't buy this regularly as I think it can be a waste of money especially if theres nothing interesting to read, but if there is a good interview in the mag I would buy it for that and maybe for a few other reasons.
Another magazine I have found quite good is Bliss, although it does have a lot of adverts in it, it is still full of great quizes and flow charts to keep you entertained. It also has real life dramas which are interesting to read. Along with its celeb interviews I fing this magfazine worth buying and a great read.
I like both of these magazines and would probably buy Bliss more than Star. Other great magazines are Sugar, J17 and Hello.
