Best Magazine: ... is a weekly magazine aimed at the female reader market. Whilst at 60 pages it is not a large magazine there is not an excess of advertising ( advertising makes up about 10 pages including self-advertising for the next issue) so it is filled with articles, stories and editorials. The mix within the magazine is very good. About 4 pages are devoted to fashion/clothing and this in Best this clothes for real women. ...

We have, so we are led to believe, developed such an insatiable appetite for news of celebrity lifestyles and royal minutiae that an entire industry has been built. Every month they offer real workouts to experiment with, and also some really useful tips on things like stress busting and keeping well. The best thing about Men s Fitness though is that they occasionally produce books, such as the complete t...

mrsksg Woman's Own
... have been buying Woman s Own now every week for many years. It may just be a comfort buy as I don t really enjoy it anymore. It may be quite a cheap magazine at only about 80p but it is filled with some complete and utter rubbish. Only a few years ago it was a magazine which every woman would buy and sit down with a cup of coffee to read about a few real life tales and to catch up on the latest soap gossip. Now however the soap gossip has gotten smaller, probably only one page for all the soaps, I don t pay that much attention any more. Also the real life tales from people across the UK have become ever increasingly terrible to read and depressing. I m sure that a few...
