Available a couple of days before a big home game, the Matchday Magazine is Liverpool's 'public' version of a programme, complete with team news and information for the ground (Anfield). Yet it's much more than a simple guide to the big day. It has features, fantastic photographs, fan pages, interviews and stories from Liverpool FC's illustrious past. When all is said and done, this is more than your average footy mag. The best thing about it is the price.

At only £3.00 per issue, it beats the price of a lot of football 'programmes/magazines' and is well worth the money. Unfortunately, it's not always available at your local newsagents, and I'm not sure why this is. But you can subscribe, or do as I do and order it from your local WH Smith.

Did I mention that it has also won awards for best customer magazine of the year? Well, it has! And David Cottrell, the magazine's editor, has also won an award for his efforts. It's a top magazine for any Liverpool fan, and far better than any of the monthly offerings already on the shelf.
