Advantages: Affordable clothes

Disadvantages: Sometimes features clothes that have been in stores already for 1-2 weeks

Look is, yet another, women's magazine. The thing that gives this one an edge over the others is that it focuses on affordable High Street Fashion.

Priced at £1 just now, £1.60 normally, it's good value for money compared to most of the other weeklys.

I used to buy a few mags a week but now only buy Look. Most of the magazines are full of outdated news which I have read up to 10 days before on the Internet. As Look focuses on fashion however, it gives you something different to focus on.

It specialises in recreating celebrity looks for less and unlike some mags which do this only for you to realise "affordable" includes a £100 sweater, Look uses stores such as New Look, River Island, Topshop and H&M. There is always a little designer thrown in the magazine but more in a "wow imagine you could afford this, but we can't" kind of way.

About 50% of the magazine is dedicated to fashion, 40% celeb goss and fashion and 10% makeup (which I always skip over anyhow).

If you are looking to update your wardrobe I reccommend giving Look a quick flick before hitting the high street!
