Advantages: Not too much designer fashion it has a good balance with high-street.

Disadvantages: Not very thick only a 100 pages.

LOOK is a magazine aimed at teenagers and young women. It is mainly a fashion magazine though does have some celebrity and real-life stories. It is a glossy, weekly magazine that costs £1.50 each week. You get over 100 pages of designer and high-street fashion, as well as the celebrity gossip and true life stories.

The magazine itself is very distinguishable as it always has a picture of a celebrity on the front taking up most of the front cover and above that is the title of the magazine; look. The title is in a bold colour and capital letters, so it is easily recognisable.

The articles are split up into sections on the contents and anything that is on the front cover has a black box with the words 'Cover Story' next to it. The sections are;
-Fashion & Beauty; This include the 'High Street Hottest' which is what is new in varying high street shops, 'All The Dresses', this is a selection of dresses on the red carpet from the past week, and many more.
-Celebrity; This includes varies articles on different celebrities including their relationships and stories about how they got slim, and whose put on weight, and who looks good in a bikini etc.
-Real Life; This usually includes two or three stories that change every week. The one I am reading now includes the stories 'The Baby Debate: Should You Wait?' and 'How Football Is Saving These Women From HIV'.
-Every Week; This is 'Life Consultancy', 'Reviews' and Horoscopes'.

This magazine is very useful if you like fashion. If fashion is not your thing then this magazine is most defiantly not for you as it has 'More Fashion Than Any Other Weekly'. It has the perfect mix of designer fashion and high-street bargains so that it is aimed at normal people earning a normal wage. As well as the celebrity gossip that we all want and love. It is good value for money as you do not get a magazine full of adverts of things that you don't want you get the actual articles and fashion. I would recommend this to people who like fashion and enjoy a light read.

Summary: Good value for money though possibly not every week.
