Advantages: um.....it's cheap

Disadvantages: total trash

I decided to give love it! magazine a try this week as it was on offer for 40p and thought that it would keep me entertained for a few minutes.

It's one of the trashy magazines but it concentrates mainly on real life stories rather than celebrities. Like every other magazine in the country though it still manages to have Jordan on the cover.

The stories are fairly outrageous. The cover features include a girl who is pregnant after secret sex with lovers brother, the mini mum to be and the new phenomenon of "cokerexia" or women who use coke to stay skinny.

The mini mum story caught my eye, it features four foot 1 Kayleigh, an aspiring topless model (complete with bizarre glamour shots) who is now pregnant with her dwarf boyfriend. I've got to say it went into way more detail than I would have liked about the conception and made me squirm a bit!

The girlfriend pregnant with boyfriends brother story is typical Jeremy Kyle type trash but they managed to spin the whole sordid story out over three pages and it just got boring.

They also have an interview with the people who got an ASBO for their noisy sex sessions, surely most people would be hiding in shame if that was them but these charmers are keen to spill the beans.

As well as the stories they have the usual womans mag fodder of health, problems and fashion. General advice is provided by the insufferable Trisha Goddard and the psychic problem page featured a reply from the resident clairvoyant who had managed to contact a readers dead dog!

The health pages were reasonably informative featuring a double page spread about dyspraxia and I found this really interesting.

Other gems from this mag include readers tips. I'll share these tips so you can create them at home if you wish. Tip one is turning a motorbike helmet into a hanging basket and tip two is using used KFC containers as a stylish way to store jewellery on your dressing table. I wasnt sure if they were serious or this was some bizarre parody.

I can't really see who this magazine would appeal to, someone who likes reading about dwarf sex and matching mother and daughter boob jobs who visits KFC and has a spare motorbike helmet lying about and wants to contact their dead dog perhaps.

The only thing that this magazine has going for it is its cheapness but really even at 40p it's not worth buying. I love buying trashy mags and read them a way to unwind but this one is just too trashy for my taste.

Summary: I dont love it!
