Owning an Apple Mac is a real joy, I am not going to hide that. Having such a good magazine to read up on the latest news just adds to that enjoyment. Mac User magazine really offers up a lot of good reading for actual users (new and old) or even someone thinking about buying a Mac.

For me, a long time user, the reviews section is really great. The in-depth reviews give me a good idea about if the particular piece of software or hardware is worth trying. They are pretty accurate and seem unbiased, which is a good thing. The 'Letters' page gives some light relief and their are also some tutorials that are not always tailored for beginners. The 'News' is always of interest and the fact that this is a fortnightly publication it is very up-to-date.

For new or potential Mac users there is plenty of good things too. The buyers guide shows all of the current computer line-up, so helps in buying decisions. They also run good articles about buying second hand, from ebay, or from the Apple Refurb store. The Q&A pages and tutorials also show just how easy the Mac is to use and show that there is always help available should you need it.

It could do with a better Marketplace section, not loads of ads, just more specific Mac companies to choose from. Other than that it is faultless.
