Advantages: Great read, intelligent and fashionable at the same time.

Disadvantages: A few too many adverts and a tad expensive.

Well, what can I say? Despite its reputation as a magazine for people that have fluff for brains, Marie Claire is one of the most well balanced magazines that I have ever had the pleasure to read. It has more fashion, beauty and celebrites than you can shake the proverbial stick at, right next to hard-hitting issues from all over the world.

The writers and editors always seem to know exactly where to go to find even more horrific tales than the month before and they are always written with an air of sympathy without being patronizing or pitiful. The celebrity interviews are refreashingly real without all the usual 'So what is your favourite mineral water?' twaddle.

The magazine is different every week, and although a tad pricey, the mag is only a monthly and can sometimes take you that long to read! Marie Claire is a top buy with top entertainment, I reccommend it to all who want a the usual girly experiance mixed with one hell of a lot of substance.
