Match of the Day Magzine is a highly popular football magazine similar to Match. It comes out once a week, every Tuesday and the picture suggested by Dooyoo looks nothing like the actual product.

The layout of the magazine in my opinion is brilliant. They have lots of colourful pictures to go along with articles and a clear contents page at the beginning of the magazine.

Every week they post all the results of last weeks matches. They also have a page dedicated to lower league football and another one with the big news about foreign countries footballing leagues. They also have a predict the score double page where all the next weeks games are listed as well as where and when they are going to be played and a bit of information about the two clubs and what the last result between them was etc. Finally, they have a page which talks about what in their opinion is the biggest game of the upcoming week in detail, looking at predicted line ups and tactics and stats.

They have some interviews with famous players every week. For example this week it Was Gael Clichy and Wayne Rooney. These can be interesting to read as the questions aren't the standard boring ones.

There is also a page comic about the people who work at Match of The Day which isn't bad albeit the fact that it has a really bad pun at the end. There are also a couple of small strips which are quite funny and fill a little space.

Match of The Day magazine also has a double page of a quiz with answers and some footy questions. These can be fun and interesting. The magazine also has Posters, latest gossip, competitions, free swapits codes and sometimes a free gift.

All in all for £1.90 a week I think it is an excellent buy. It is a light hearted magazine which will take time of your hands and let you keep up to date with the footballing world. While slightly less packed with footballing information than match it is certainly more entertaining.

Summary: A great magazine to read
