Disadvantages: cynical 'loaded' ripoff

I bought last month's maxim because I've never read it before, I'm afraid I won't be reading it again. I think the publishers must have a pretty low opinion of men in general. It consists mostly of soft-core pics of here-today/gone-tomorrow female 'celebrities', dodgy fashion + football features and endless glossy ads for men's anti-wrinkle cream (seriously). Is that really all the average guy in the street cares about ? And not forgetting those thinly disguised 'advertorials', as if there isn't little enough actual content already.

I just felt like it tries WAY too hard to be 'laddish'. I like Loaded, but this just feels like a cheap, cynical rip-off.
