I love this free daily paper. Every morning during the week I sit myself down and pick up my Metro and read it from cover to cover. It is a well balanced paper with home, international and funny stories. I also always check to see if it was me was photographed the day before.

I like the fact that there is a Scottish edition and we have good reporting on stories which affect us within Scotland.

I congratulate the Daily Mail owners for distributing this paper. I just wonder if it is recycled. The one down side is the fact that so many are left lying around after they have been read. Readers should be encouraged to dispose of their paper in a bin - not the park seat, the bus floor or thrown to the wind.

I am also pleased to see so many young people pick up a copy. It is often lamented that they do not read anything other than comics. Here they get serious information on serious issues.

The fact that it is free does not stop me from buying the Daily mail - it has further indepth coverage - but the Metro is just right for the bus trip to the office.

Congratulations to the editorial team on a job well done.
