Advantages: Free gifts sometimes

Disadvantages: Expensive for what it is, nothing much original in it

For £2.30 Minx mag is not as good value as a lot of the other glossies because it just does not have the same amount of content.

I personally do not like it that much and only buy it if i have read all the other magazines that month. Its layout is slightly strange and looks a bit messy. In its early days it often had good articles on things not normally associated with women's lifestyle magazines such as about womens' prisons, or people taken as political hostages but now it simply does not bother and just features the usual relationship articles.

There is usually a travel feature on a particular city or destination which is ok, but nothing special, and many of the pages are devoted to fashion and photo shoots which again is ok but since there is nothing to read on these pages and they take up alot of the magazine it helps make the mag not very good value for money.
Worth buying for the free gift sometimes, July's was a rucksack and previous months have been books.
