Advantages: good laugh, interesting articles

Disadvantages: not enough decent content to be worth its price

As opposed to the other scathing reviews on here, I actually think Minx isn't as bad as it is being made out to be! Ok so maybe it is rather overpriced, and yes they do exhaust certain fashion topics etc, but I do still think there are often things worth reading in it!

It has always intrigued me why there are no problem pages in the magazine, but I think this is deliberate to focus on positive thinking, and too many problem pages are tiresome! I love the feature where they have a celebrity describe their ideal date, and also the real life stories of people who have led exciting lives (unlike mine!)

Maybe Minx isn't the best around, I prefer 19 personally, but it is still something to read when you are bored, and they often have useful free gifts such as a beach bag, which are usually tasteful! And the book reviews are usually a good guide as well - I have enjoyed every book they have recommended so far!
