To criticise Minx for its lack of serious journalism and heavyweight articles is to entirely miss the point. This is the mag for girls who just wanna have fun. Or just have fun at that moment, anyway. Its target market is girls who are quite happy to dub themselves 'laddettes' and want to read silly, fun and irreverant stuff about having a good time. And if that's its brief it does it fairly well. I'm too old to be in its target market but I enjoy reading this fairly regularly. It has a high feel-good factor, a completely different take on the world from its rivals, who all too often can be justifiably accused of taking themselves too seriously. If clubbing, getting drunk, having girlie make-up evenings and gossping about lad isn't your thing, then you probably won't enjoy this. But for half an hour of escapism it's hard to beat.

Summary:
