Advantages: good club listings

This is a magazine centred around dance music. I used to buy it as a DJ, but it's really for anyone into the scene.

The main rival for this mag is DJ, which is a bit better in my opinion, but that doesn't make this a bad magazine.

There are lots of features. Lists and details of club nights are a must for those looking to get out, and the photos that accompany these are also a bit of a laugh. There are articles and interviews with those involved in the industry, and these are very well written.

There are also music reviews. Now, this is the bit I am not so sure about. Ten years ago, when I was DJing then yeah, I read them, but not today. The growth of the internet means that magazine written reviews of music are all but obsolete. Just go along to djdownload.com and you can listen to samples of all the new tracks, so why would you want to read a review?

All in all, this is a nice enough mag, but there are a whole host of websites making it a tad pointless at times.
