Advantages: Addictive, cheap and helpful

Disadvantages: Can be a bit repetative

As this is my second pregnancy I hoped I would be able to avoid spending silly amounts of money on pregnancy magazines. NO! I'm as addicted as ever and this is one of the best. Lots of well written, clearly laid out articles, covering pregnancy, birth, coping with new baby, reviews of products and lots of birth/pregnancy stories for when you're feeling soppy. (Or is it just me who has been know to cry while reading about the 24 hour labour of Kate from Newport)


Although a certain amount of the information is regurgitated, they spread out repeats well, and are very good at finding new angles to look at old issues from. Free gifts are often excellent.

They also have an excellent website (motherandbaby.co.uk), so if this doesn't convince you to give it a read check that out first to get an idea of the way they tackle issues.
