There are still some good features on classic bands such as iron maiden. There are also some features on actual metal (Shock horror!) It has free posters each week and is priced at £2.10. I have regrettably bought a yea... Read the full review: Life used to be loud by joe-91 |

Kerrang! ... Magazine I get this magazine as often as I can. In it features: Free posters Interviews with bands or singers Tour dates Tour dates for bands Album reviews Feed back from either gigs or recent stuff that was put in to the magazines from before When albums are being released Ads for clothing shops like sohos Competitions Ads for wanted things like bassist or something It also tells you what s coming in the next issue. I think this magazine is great but the price is unbelievable I mean £2.10p for 1 issue! I mean maybe £1.80p id get it every single week but £2.10p is pushing it. This magazine is a rock magazine made by the people that created the Kerrang! Channel ... Read the full review: LIFE IS LOUD!!! by dooshbag08 |

During the 70 s the term gonzo journalism was coined and soon became associated with the NME. The use of humor, quotes, sarcasm, and exaggeration became the NME writing style, and still is today. This manages to set it apart from the crowd. Edging ever closer to the teen-pop weekly format the mag is now fully coloured and glossy print. It s highly advertised an... NME ... of many music magazines available in newsagents and supermarkets across the land, although this is one of the better ones. The NME which originally started out as a printed newspaper many decades ago has developed to become one of the most popular glossy music magazines available. Partly due to its choice a few years ago to follow mainly "indie" music which has paid off due to its recent flourish of popularity. A typical NME is 70 to 80 pages long and packed with reviews of CD s, DVD s and concerts as well as interviews with bands and solo artists. Another major feature in its success is its large index of upcoming concerts which allows music lovers to eas... Read the full review: Simply a great mag by 6heads |
