Advantages: Full of lots of information

This magazine is designed to help you through your baby’s first 9 months and it really does have some interesting articles and advice. But and this is a big but every other page at least is an advert and this just drives me crazy. I find it really annoying to have to sift through the endless ads to find something interesting to read. I also find it a shame that it only covers approximately the first 9 months and not the first year and of those the later months are only touched on for the most part.

After that moan though everything else I have to say is good. It covers every important issue associated with bringing up your baby like weaning, safety, communication and life after baby for mum. There is a large section on buyers guides and happily they don’t just cover the large purchases but everything from bum wipes to prams to books and the rating is based on tester opinions.

The sections included are BabyCare, BabyHealth, BabyGrow and FamilyLife, each well written and particularly useful. This is a good magazine for new mums first time or otherwise but not really a relaxing flick through. If you are looking for information and a bit of advice it’s great if you are looking for a good ‘read’ then choose again.
