Advantages: leaves out the rubbish other mags keep in

Disadvantages: its generally a given that jordan, victoria beckham or cheryl cole will be on the front cover

when you walk into the newsagents you are generally greeted with a whole array of celebrity related magazines and it can be a struggle to pick which one to buy. I was one of the fools who bought 3 different magazines but each time i did this, by the time i got on the third one i could pretty much write the stories myself as they'd been the same in the other two. Needless to say, i cut my magazine purchasing down, and being the cheapest, New won. But what it lacks in price it definitely makes up for in quality and is one of few magazines i actually read cover to cover as it sifts out all the rubbish that bulks out other mags(such as a really long tv guide). It's got affordable fashion, celebrity gossip and celebrity columnists (eg peter andre-who likes to sort the fact from fiction between him and jordan, which i like).

so, if you're standing poring over magazines and are struggling to make up your mind-go for new-its costs less and is way more enjoyable
