Advantages: The low price

Disadvantages: Not as popular as Heat

When I go to my local cornor shop, I always buy my weekly collection of magazines, and New Magazine is definitely amongst them. It is one of the cheapest celebrity magazine out there, and for such a low low price of 85p, who can argue that this mag is not worth what you pay for it. People say that magazines are all the same, include the same celebrities, the same stories, and same features, so why buy more than one, when only one will do. Well, I say that New magazine is similar, but does have its features, which I love.

They always feature interviews with celebrities, and give us the latest gossip from the land of showbiz. I love it when they do such interviews, as we get to see them out of whay we usually see, either on TV, or splashed all over the pages. There was recently an interview with Lily Allen, who came across as more than the drug taking singer that we all know. However, one of my favourite parts of the magazine is the fashion pages, where you can look at what the celebs are wearing, what style are in, and which ones are going out. It is brilliant.

When it does come down to price, it is one of the cheapest, and so some would say, its crap basically. However, when you compare it to the likes of Heat and OK magazines, I often find, that they are very similar in content, so the price for NEW is justified. If you have never bought this magazine before, I would suggest that you do. Almost all newsagents will stock it, and for 85p, you really cant be robbed. Even if you only buy it once, please give it a read, people believe it doesn't stand against Heat, but it really does.
