Advantages: A good British traditional newspaper

Disadvantages: none

You stand in the queue at Sainsburys with The News of The World positioned just so,hoping that everyone will think that it is The Sunday Times!
Of course you ask for a carrier bag to take your scandalous booty home in.
Try as you might curiosity gets the better of you, your eyes are drawn to the cleverly written story titles, and to cap it all there are people sitting in offices being paid vast sums of money to dream up these catchy headlines.
"Who`s with who??!!"..she never is!!
I don't believe it!
So we find out that old adage is so true..Where there's muck there's brass!

During my childhood it was common for parents to go for a Sunday afternoon `nap` with the News of the World...I wonder..

But its sensationalism that sells newspapers and in that respect the News of the world has the edge.

The British tabloid was founded in 1843 and is published every Sunday by News Group newspapers of News International is well known for it`s love of sex scandals.
The often right- wing newspaper has often otherwise been known as the "News of the screws" !
The Editor is Colin Myler former Editor of the "Sunday Mirror".
One of the previous editors was Piers Morgan (An X Factor Judge)

Carole Malone keeps us up to date with her opinions about high pro filers,Royalty and stars of today.
Fraser Nelson is our insider in the corridors of power.
Ian Hyland gives us his thoughts on the weeks television programmes.
Robbie Collin writes about the new cinema releases.
Andy Dunn is the sporting correspondent
Alistair Down gives us the low down on the Race meetings for the week ahead.

We see celebrity photographs,or rather we see certain celebrity assets!

While Jane Butterworth the resident Agony Aunt deals with bunny boilers, blackmail and threesomes!

The unmissable Mystic Meg rubs her crystal ball and conjures up her horoscopes.

Martyn Lewis..Gosh he`s in big demand at the moment! advises Great Britain on how to give their wallet a boost and beat the Credit crunch.

Travel suggestions..where to have a wonderful holiday on a budget.

The latest music from Cold play and Snow Patrol is featured in the music section..but nothing about Diana Ross and the Supremes.

The News of the World is as British as Fish and Chips, goes hand in hand with Blackpool Rock and Kiss Me Quick Hats....and I slide into Sainsburys on a Sunday morning (complete with baseball cap and dark glasses) to buy my Sunday fix!

Summary: A paper that just loves the gossip.
