Advantages: Classy Sunday tabloid, Michael Winner

Disadvantages: Too much scandal

The News of the World is apparently Britains biggest selling newspaper. If this is true, I cannot blame my fellow countrymen as this is also my Sunday choice, and has been for a long time. Although as it's the biggest selling paper, it does have a clear advantage over other papers because as it's only on sale once a week, people don't get bored as much as they might with a daily.

Every Sunday, I am always fairly eager to get down and read the paper which I have delivered (oh, if only my spaniel dog could bring it up to me in bed!) each and every Sunday, including holidays.

The paper is overflowing with stories and articles by famous people that we all know like Michael Winner who does write a very good column in the News Of The World. He writes mainly about royalty etc, but I'm quite interested in that so it makes four good entertainment. He is never afraif to say what he thinks, and usually does!

A dislike I have with this paper is that there is a bit too much scandal for my tastes, and is one of my only gripes on an otherwise perfect landscape (happy Hall of famers?, thats a type of sentence you would write!). Every week there is usually a shock, horror story from someone who has slept with a well known celebrity and they spill ALL of the baked beans. But it is bearable as I said, its the only complaint I really have.

At the top of the front page, they have a little caption "for Sarah" in reference to the murdered Sarah Payne. I am absolutely outraged at the murder, and I have to say that it's despicable, but reminding everyone of it each Sunday is not the kindest thing to do in my opinion, why can't they put the ghosts to rest finally, when hopefully the evil soul who did this gets a taste of his own medcine, I personally would love the shoot him for what he did and see him be hung, drawn and quartered, same goes for the dirt who killed Damilola Taylor.

The sport section of the News O
f The World is very well rounded up, and covers most sports known really, I am pleased to say its coverage of Cricket is great as I am a huge fan. But for all sports fans, make sure you turn to the back of the paper first for all your info that you missed from the weekends activitys.

Sunday, is a special free magazine that comes free with the paper each week and gives very good listings for the week ahead, although I don't need it, it is still nice to have.

All in all, this is my favourite paper around. Keep it going.

Thanks for reading, your welcome to gve me any much needed feedback too.

The murdes you metion were tragic but sometimes I can't help but wonder if the little things these papers do in reagrds to them are merely a ploy to seel more papers so thery are seen as having morals
