Advantages: Chepaer than Heat/OK/Hello and loads of different articles and features
Disadvantages: It is now £1.10 instead of £1.00!
I have been buying 'Now' magazine as my preferred mag for the past few years.
This magazine has everything in it that I want to see and read about during my 'chill-out' time and best of all it is only just over £1.00! (I think £1.10 now) which is way less than Heat Magazine and of course OK and Hello. The reasons why I find this magazine so good is that it has some good 'trashy' celebrity stories in it, but also has film reviews, makeup tips, soap updates, travel reviews, real life stories, fashion tips, and interviews. It is basically everything rolled into one reasonably priced magazine!
I find that Heat Magazine is generally ok, but I don't want to pay extra to find that one third of the magazine is a TV guide which I already get in my paper. Also Heat/OK and Hello focus totally on celebrity pictures and interviews, and don't have loads else in them.
Now has the fashion and make-up/hair articles but does not have all the adverts that Elle and Vogue etc. have, plus the clothes in them are highstreet and more affordable to the average person.
I also feel that Now magazine is better quality than the likes of Closer and some of the other new weekly magazines. That's another thing - the fact that Now is weekly means that the stories are more up to date than the monthly women's magazines and you can keep yourself more up to date on the goings on in celebland!
Now Magazine also has a great website where you can find out breaking stories as they happen, and it also has a lot of celebrity photographs and stories on there too if you haven't been to the shop to get the magazine!
Overall I would recommend Now magazine to anyone who is curious about celebrity news and who wants other aspects to a magazine as well.
