Advantages: Great Reviews, big magazine, PLAYABLE DEMOS

Disadvantages: £6 for 1 magazine

You start off with a good front cover of a new game like Pro Evo 5 for example, and just that alone makes you want to buy it. Its Pro Evo 5 for crying out loud!

Then you have the editors page, great for a few laughs with a short summary of the magazine AND a graph of what theyve been talking about, not games. They talk about movies and women and rumours, a great read.

You then have a magazine chocked full of reviews and previews, of which, as the editor reminds us throughout the mag are first glances at games because they are official, so they get a lot of the games first. It is the letters that are also good, with some witty comments from writer and editors/publishers. When youve read this magazine that can be from 150-180 pages long, you look at the pictures. But theyre not just pictures, no, more writing too, with rude comments here and there, that relate to the game of course. This is a major reason to buy the magazine, they are hilarious. Then, nothing at all to do with a magazine most of the time, there are models too, dotted all around the place, a bit weird for a playstation magazine with readers that are young, but it is nothing rude. They just have speech bubbles saying funny things. It is good for £6 now isn't it. There is also some PSP, PS3, DVD and CD reviews at the back too.

How much fun in just 1 magazine can you get. If you are thinking £6 still, then, as one readers comment pointed out, get a subscription to save up to 37%, god i waste my money.

Now, at the moment i have a magazine in front of me, laughing at the amount of comments they can make at a game called Super Monkey Ball Delux. Really, i may be laughing at the most immature jokes but, theyre funny. Also, there is resident evil, 8 pages i think, a 10/10 game, and another, burnout, the list never stops.

Now there is the demo disc, with Playable Demos, A spy at upcoming games, a monitor of games, goal of the month (pro evo) and comedown. Demose vary from 5-12 games per disc tooo.

If you dont want a magazine this good buy another, but be warned, they are about £4, not many being less than that, and, get this, unofficial magazines dont have playable demos, they are just demos...to watch. nope, if you actually would like to play a game you like, not watch it, be dissapointed when youve spent £30 on a game and sold it for half the price, go official. This is the magazine for you.

Summary: Great for reading, but expensive

Slow down a bit there buddy! You'll do better to write one long, detailed opinion than bashing out half a dozen short ones in quick succession...
