I rarely treat myself to a magazine as I think most are a waste of my hard earned cash. However I do sometimes buy a copy of OK magazine, particularly when I have a long flight or train journey.

O.K magazine advertises itself as a magazine specializing in celebrity gossip. It has been around since 1993 and is published by Northern and Shell. The cover price is £ 2.50 but I paid just £1.95 for this months November edition. The magazine has exclusive interviews, wedding coverage and lots of glossy pictures.

This months issue has 146 pages many devoted to the dreaded adverts! The cover of O.K is usually features several photos of celebrities rather than one large photo. This months edition has an article about Katie Price, there is an interview with Cheryl Cole and a weird article about Victoria and David Beckham in which Victoria explains why gays want to bed her David! Along the same lines Alexandra Burke explains why she would love to be a gay icon.

There is a dear Jordan page in which Katie Price plays agony aunt and gives advice to readers with relationship problems. There are recommendations about the best product to buy-this month its aromatherapy products on trial.

There is fashion and make up tips as well as the odd recipe to try.

O.K magazine is a very light read and there are lots of trashy articles included. However many of us do like reading gossip about celebrities whether we admit it or not! I like the glossy photos and find this magazine a good distraction especially when traveling. It is the sort of magazine I like to buy when I'm off on holiday to read on the plane.O.K magazine certainly won't stretch your brain cells in any way!
